Swedish

A relaxing massage with long, flowing strokes to help create a relaxed meditative state that is sure to melt away any stress you might be experiencing.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to the feet and hands utilizing specific thumb, finger and hand techniques.

Chair Massage

Massage performed in a massage chair that addresses most of the body while the client is fully clothed. You can receive deep pressure to address areas in the neck, back, shoulders or lower back or have a relaxing massage to increase circulation and ease tension.

Deep Tissue / Myofacial Release / Trigger Point

These massages will concentrate on problem areas while also performing a relaxing massage. After receiving these types of massages you can expect to have a little soreness in the areas worked in the massage.

Prenatal

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of a regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good.

It’s also tailored specifically to meet the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies.

What to expect during the session

Before the session starts, you will be asked to fill out a short, confidential health questionnaire. You will then be asked about what you would liked worked on during the session, and the therapist will describe how the session will meet those needs. Before stepping out, the therapist will ask if you have any questions. Please feel free to ask anything that may concern you. This is your time and it is important that you understand everything that will occur and be completely comfortable.

Dressing down for the massage

Massage can be given with clothes on, or undressed to your comfort level. If you are not fully comfortable then you will not get the most out of your massage. Please keep in mind that you will be draped at all times except for the part of the body that is being worked on.

As your body releases tension, you may feel many different emotions. This is completely normal, so please do not feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. At the end of the session, you will be reminded to drink a glass of water, which is important to flush out toxins and replace body fluids..
